I stand here, alone,
always looking for you,
waiting for the bye,
from the time you left.

My eyes follow you everyday,
on the left side of the street,
with the little belief,
that you will turn to look.

I always keep a smile to pass,
but it flattens everyday when you walk past,
and when I take the first step,
my eyes hint to stop, saying “just a while”.

When the tears drip and drop,
my feet catch speed to rush towards home,
but my head still turns left,
that one day she will..
