Due to COVID-19 pandemic, State Bank of India has revised its ceilings for cash withdrawal in Non-home Branches. This temporary revision is applicable for P-Segment customers, which includes enhanced cash withdrawal limit for individuals as well as for third parties using cheque in non-home branches. So based on this new revision, you will be able to withdraw money from your nearby branch in case of an emergency.
Parameter | Existing Limits Per Day | Revised Limits Per Day |
Cash Withdrawal for Self using Cheque | ₹ 50000/- | ₹ 100000/- |
Cash Withdrawal for Self using withdrawal slip accompanied by Savings Bank Passbook | ₹ 5000/- | ₹ 25000/- |
Cash Withdrawal by Third Party using Cheque (Including KYC documents of Third Party) | Not allowed | ₹ 50000/- |
The revised limits are valid up to 30 September 2021. An appreciable move indeed by India’s largest bank, amid the raging COVID-19 pandemic.
