I got a glimpse,
as she walked past,
slowly toward my couch,
into the coziness.

In an unmoved smile,
she blinked the lid,
softening her lip,
it was all greek to me.

In deep fear, I shut my eyes,
she wasn’t there,
she was the one,
I knew, but not!
