Inspiration is all around us. I spotted this beautiful small installation in front of a restaurant in Ahmedabad while still on the run on a busy rainy afternoon. As I look at it now, I realize that one of the signs of a good design is not only being catchy, but also having the capacity to merge different genres. Tweak a bit here and there; as in this case, I find old world charm merging in a contemporary setting. The colors have been played well by keeping cool tones as the front runners unlike the warm tones specific to the region. Inspiration is the key..find it.
