To my dear one,

I don’t remember the day I met you,
but that day made me remember you thereafter.

I don’t remember the first word you spoke to me,
but that word made me converse with you thereafter.

I don’t remember the first smile you gave me,
but that smile asked me to keep one thereafter.

I don’t remember when you turned out to be my soul friend,
but, if not for this wonderful soul, I would still seek “solitude”!
