Just as the title “Thoughts of a Wanderer” suggests, this book is an encapsulation of thoughts the writer as a wanderer- going through life, is offering to share. And I think most of us will be able to relate to these thoughts because we are all going through varied experiences and thought processes as we walk our journeys.

What is beautiful about this book is the narration- simple, flowing lucidly in just the right size, many chapters coming from real-life situations conveying some enriching message. What I particularly like about the writings in here is that they are all explained with stories or incidents-some real, some hypothetical; perhaps arousing the readers’ interest and holding it, also facilitating an instant connect.

Also quite interesting is the variety in content that Mr. Sangameswaran Nurani offers, from across all spheres of life. There’s a heart-melting real-life expression about his mother in the very first chapter titled ‘The Universality of Motherhood’, a really warm way to begin the narration- an ode to the magnanimity of his mother. There is more on subjects like spirituality, birth, and death.

All in all, Mr. Nurani’s ‘stray thoughts’ (as he says it), are every bit in place!
