The Moon is melting down,
giving the stars her crown.

The blanket of sleepy sky,
is receiving heaven’s blessings, above high.

They are not mere stars,
they are the twinkling dreams that the Almighty scatters.

The Moon is melting down,
pouring her silver shine in my somnolent town.

She is eluding and dwindling away,
with the sparkling stars sipping her heavenly ray.

Her crown is now their pride,
they are twinkling in hope in the drowsy night!
