Egg, flour and sugar combined,
we’re making a cake
with all the love we can find.
Butter, caster sugar-
mix it all together,
creating the past times
we can remember forever.

Get a spoon, mix it up,
in a bowl of joy
that will fill you up.
Now get a teaspoon,
put the batter
into the cupcake mould.
It could get messy,
remember to clean the space.

The cake’s in the oven now,
let’s wait and make more memories
that may be at stake.
Next, take them out of the oven,
wait for them to cool.
And watch yourself and your mum smile,
because you know you both rule!
